In the fall of 1991, I was born in Jackson, Mississippi. Growing up I always thought I would become an accountant like both of my parents.  The older I became my mind began to change. One of my favorite things to do is raise and care for my goats and chickens. I currently have 5 goats and about 30 chickens all of which I have had since they were babies.  I also enjoy playing tennis, painting, and crafting in my spare time.

After high school, I attended the University of Southern Mississippi as a fine art major with an emphasis in drawing and painting. After a year and a half, my art that I was so passionate about was slowing becoming work. When I realized I did not want to create art for a living anymore, the decision was made to change my major. I explored medical technology and nutrition, before I finally settled on radiologic science. I was accepted into the Copiah Lincoln Community College Radiologic Science Program from which I graduated in May 2015.

In June 2015, I began working in the radiology department at Merit Health Central. After 7 months, I moved into the CT department. In October 2016, I passed my Computed Tomography registry and became an official CT tech. Currently, I am set to graduate the UMMC advanced radiology bachelor program in May 2017.
